Join a forward-thinking veterinary practice in Hyde, where you can thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment. This role offers a fantastic work-life balance with a flexible schedule, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care to pets while enjoying generous annual leave and professional development opportunities. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and growth, you will be part of a vibrant community that values your contributions. If you're passionate about veterinary medicine and looking for a fulfilling career, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a difference.
We are looking for a full-time or part-time veterinary surgeon to join our Hyde team. As one of the top employers in the UK, we offer an excellent package and a superb work/life balance. The working pattern is 4 days per week with a share of Saturday mornings, with time given back in lieu. We offer no OOH and a competitive salary. Duties include providing high-quality clinical care to all pets, delivering outstanding client service, and helping to create and maintain an efficient clinic. This role suits a vet with a consulting or medical bias, but we are flexible and open to tailoring a suitable role for the right candidate.
At White Cross Vets, we have 21 clinics across the UK. Our clinics have diverse teams with various interests, with team members undergoing further training or achieving certificate status. Being part of a larger group offers excellent support and opportunities for growth and internal career progression. Our veterinary team enjoys all aspects of general practice and has extensive experience.
Our Clinic Director holds an internal medicine certificate, and our Senior Vet specializes in soft tissue surgery. Another Senior Vet has a certificate in dentistry and offers a referral service to the group. Additionally, one vet is pursuing an exotic pet certificate. We value a vet with a consultation or medical bias to support and develop this area.
The Hyde practice is closely linked with our Walkden clinic, sharing leadership and expanding service offerings. Walkden has a strong surgical team and an Advanced Practitioner in Dermatology. Hyde boasts a strong nursing team with various certificate holders and excellent facilities, including multiple consult rooms, wards, operating theatre, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, and access to endoscopy. There is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to lead consultation development and support further training.
Working at Hyde means being part of an enthusiastic team that enjoys bonding over shared interests, including regular meals, pub quizzes, breakout rooms, and active pursuits like 10k training and Fitbit challenges.
