Job description

Job Title: Permanent Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon, York

Job Details

• Type: Mixed Practice - 75% farm, 5% horse work, 20% pets
• Location: Small market town near York, North Yorkshire
• Practice Facilities: Recently built small animal surgery with modern equipment including in-house biochemistry, critical care analyser, endoscopes, digital radiography, ECG, dental radiography, and ultrasonography.
• Team: 20-vet practice with a shared duty rota among 12 vets, supported by high-calibre staff including RVNs, SVNs, and VCAs.
• Role: Varied work with flexibility to focus on areas of enthusiasm; includes all species out of hours with support from a dedicated nurse.
• Hours: Duty rota includes both first and second call, evenly shared among vets.
