Where passion meets progress

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our exceptional team. This role is tailored for Vets who excel in managing diverse cases and delivering exceptional client care. Within this role, we will offer you the experience to grow in confidence and develop new skills, handling a mix of consultations and surgeries.

Flexibility? It's what we do - set the days/hours that work for you

Our people are the very heart of our team, that's why we want to look after you by offering flexible opportunities that work for you and your lifestyle - whatever that may be. Whether you are looking for hours around rush hour, a week on/week off rota or a term-time only role, we can offer true flexibility. Just ask - we can discuss the available options. We would welcome full or part-time applicants. Typically, the full-time position is 40 hours across 4 (a fixed day off if so) or 5 days with occasional Saturday mornings and no OOH.

What makes us the perfect fit for you?

Established Legacy: With over 60 years of service, our practice has built a strong and loyal client base.

State-of-the-Art Facilities: Our newly refurbished practice boasts a range of modern equipment, including x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, lab machines, and multiparameter machines.

Specialized Rooms: Benefit from a dedicated dental room and imaging room, a double theatre, separate kennels, and cattery areas.

Scenic/Accessible Location: Located in a picturesque village near Cwmbran, we offer the tranquility of village life while being close to Newport and Cardiff.

Our long-standing team

You will be joining 4 Vets who have 20+ years combined veterinary experience with passions varying from Medicine to Soft Tissue Surgery (one of our Vets is currently completing an Ophthalmology certificate). Our Vets are supported by our long-standing 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, 4 dedicated Receptionists and our dynamic Practice Manager. Our Nurse interests vary from canine behaviour (and has carried out dog training courses so they hold puppy parties at the practice) to feline medicine and behaviour.
