Job Description:

We are currently recruiting an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to work in two small animal veterinary practices in Cheltenham and Charlton Kings (2 miles apart).

The Cheltenham practice is undergoing refurbishment but is already well equipped, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, Imotek ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, separate dog and cat wards, endoscopy, and more. Charlton Kings is also well equipped, with a small theatre and dental kit suitable for all dental procedures and minor surgeries.

Salary and benefits include a 4-day workweek with 1 in 4 Saturdays, a competitive salary up to £55,000 depending on experience, a car or allowance, generous CPD funding with 3 paid CPD days, and coverage of VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees. Relocation allowances are available up to £5,000 for overseas movers and up to £2,000 for UK-based candidates relocating more than 50 miles from their previous home.

Support for Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa is available for eligible candidates who can register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival.

Location details: Cheltenham is located beneath Cleeve Hill in the Cotswolds, known as ‘The Western Gateway to the Cotswolds’. It is near the M5 motorway, about an hour from Bristol and Birmingham.
