Facilities: They are an exclusively small animal practice with two branches in South Wales. If you enjoy the outdoors, this would be perfect for you, enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, water sports, along with easy access to large towns and cities.
Facilities include:
Team : Their supportive team consists of many talented Vets (one is completing a Surgery certificate), 6 RVNs, supporting team members, led by their Practice Manager, and 3 Clinical Directors (one is a Medicine certificate holder and another has an interest in Orthopaedics).
Role : Theyhave a unique opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team.
Duties: As a Veterinary Surgeon at this practice your day-to-day duties will be a mix of consultations and surgery, and you will receive fantastic support from an experienced team including certificate holders. They actively encourage their team to advance their abilities and careers and are willing to offer support if you want to work towards a certificate.
Hours: They offer an excellent work-life balance for the staff and can work out a flexible shift pattern that suits you and your lifestyle! Typically, the full-time position is 36 hours per week over 4 days with shifts between 8:30 am and 6.30 pm as well as 8.30 am and 7 pm. There are 1:8 Saturday mornings 8:30 am 12 pm with no OOH. They would also welcome part-time applicants.
Applicant Requirements: The role is suitable for a new graduate or a more experienced veterinary surgeon who will be given the opportunity to further their career through a wide range of clinical and surgical cases and opportunities. They have very experienced and supportive vets who are always willing to help and discuss cases. They actively encourage staff to advance their abilities and careers and are willing to offer support if they want to work towards a certificate.
Salary : Up to £75,000 (DOE)
