A well-established veterinary practice in Buxton is seeking a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to provide exceptional clinical care. A well-established small animal veterinary practice in Buxton, Derbyshire is seeking a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated vet who values client continuity, clinical autonomy, and a collaborative work culture.
The practice is known for its approachable service and loyal client base and is supported by a close-knit team including another experienced vet and a committed nursing and support staff.
Part-time: 28 hours over 4 days (09:0017:00)
No weekend rota (occasional cover may be requested)
Some sole charge required ideal for confident, independent vets
A mix of consults and surgery
Regular interaction with a nearby larger practice for case development

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
Comfortable with sole charge responsibilities
Committed to providing excellent client and patient care
Team-focused, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Confident in mentoring and supporting others where appropriate
Motivated by continuous professional development and clinical standards
Able to contribute positively to a compassionate and progressive culture
