Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon (Night) to join a family-run independent veterinary practice.

This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £60,000 - £72,000.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be delivering first opinion and emergency veterinary services during overnight shifts in a collaborative clinical setting.

They do not offer accommodation.

You will be responsible for:

1. Managing emergency and critical care cases with clinical autonomy
2. Performing both medical and surgical procedures
3. Liaising with referring branches to ensure continuity of care
4. Working as part of a supportive overnight team including experienced nurses
5. Using advanced diagnostic equipment and in-house lab facilities

What we are looking for:

1. Previous experience working as Veterinary Surgeon, Veterinarian or in a similar role
2. MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon with emergency and critical care experience
3. Committed to delivering exceptional, personalised veterinary care
4. Professional values aligned with teamwork, empathy, honesty, and integrity
5. A full UK driving licence
