Are you looking for a role that combines professional growth, exceptional teamwork, and the opportunity to live and work in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK? Our client, an independent veterinary group with three thriving practices in Devon, is seeking a passionate vet to join their dynamic team.

Nestled in the stunning southwest of England, Devon offers a gateway to breath taking countryside, moors, coastal paths, and beaches, all while remaining easily accessible to airports and the rest of the country. This idyllic location is matched by a practice ethos that prioritises exceptional care and client service, thanks to their independence and commitment to continuity through their own out-of-hours work.

The team is growing, and they are keen to welcome a veterinary surgeon who shares their values and dedication. Whether you are experienced or looking to advance your skills, you will enjoy a varied and stimulating caseload. If you have a surgical bias or aspirations to pursue a certificate, this is the perfect place to develop. With state-of-the-art equipment, including digital and dental radiography, advanced ultrasound machines, and cutting-edge endoscopy tools, you’ll have everything you need to deliver outstanding care.

Collaboration is at the heart of the practice. The team regularly discusses cases, debates treatment plans, and supports one another in a positive, growth-oriented environment. With certificate holders in small animal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, and diagnostic imaging, and vets pursuing additional qualifications in cardiology, you’ll have a wealth of expertise to draw upon and contribute to.

Work-life balance is a priority here. The rota has been carefully designed to ensure you have time to enjoy the incredible lifestyle Devon offers, from its outdoor adventures to its warm, welcoming community. If you value a supportive, progressive workplace where your voice matters, this could be your ideal next step.

Take the opportunity to thrive in a role that champions personal and professional growth while enjoying the best of the South West. Get in touch to learn more about this outstanding position.

The Rota:

• Full time role – 4 day week typically between 8.30am and 6.30pm
• Multiple short consulting blocks which provide time for admin, investigative work and, most importantly, lunch
• Fair OOH rota designed so you never have to work a full weekend on-call call and just 1:10 weeknights, the duty shift starting at 11 am, with time off following your duty shift

The Benefits:

• Generous salary of between £40,000 and £65,000
• 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
• Holiday increases with length of service
• CPD encouraged, with certificates supported and funded
• Employee Assistance Programme
• Bupa private healthcare
• Visa sponsorship
