We are seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team at Otter Vets. Your responsibilities will include 1st opinion work, such as small animal consultations and surgical caseload, potentially including elements of sole charge. There is also an opportunity to mentor junior colleagues.
Our shifts are flexible to support work/life balance. Typically, full-time vets work 10 hours across 4 days per week, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. We are open to part-time applicants and can tailor the rota accordingly.
Our practice has a rich history of over 70 years, serving our local communities in East Devon. We have two branches: one in Sidmouth, a Jurassic coastal town, and another in Ottery St Mary, a nearby market town. We actively participate in local charity events, including dog shows, coffee mornings, and Christmas stalls.
