Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and vibrant team at Southend Airport Vets for Pets.

About Us

Our well-equipped, RCVS-accredited surgery is based inside Pets at Home at the Airport Business Park on Rochford Road. You will be joining our Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon, Carlo De Vito, who graduated in Italy in 1998.

Supporting Carlo are his friendly and experienced team of 1 Veterinary Surgeon, 1 Head Registered Vet Nurse, 2 Registered Vet Nurses, 4 Client Care Advisors and 1 Practice Manager.

At Southend Airport, we have a brand-new ultrasound machine, including 4 probes, endoscope, and in-house laboratory with an x-ray machine and dental equipment.

What We Are Looking For In You

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon
• Excellent surgical skills; dentistry experience is advantageous
• Confident working alone and managing your own caseload
• A passion for small animal care and a commitment to providing the best care
• Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships
• Desire to develop skills and knowledge continuously
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues

The role is ideally full-time: 40 hours/week (9am–7:30pm), 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am–4pm), with no OOH. Part-time applicants are also considered.
