Our busy, RCVS practice standards accredited, and Silver Cat Friendly Clinic in Newton Abbot is growing fast and has an exciting opportunity for you to join us!
The practice has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2014 and is now an extremely successful business, providing a first-class service to our loyal client base. This success is due to our team's hard work, and we are proud to have a very low colleague turnover, offering excellent care to our patients as well as a warm and welcoming environment for our team.
Owner and Vet Chris, who qualified from RVC in London in 2008, returned to Devon to continue his career. By joining Chris and his team, you’ll work alongside an experienced group of 4 vets, a loyal team of 6 RVNs—including nurses who undertake Schedule 3 procedures—and a strong, innovative front-of-house team supported by Head Reception Ceylone and Practice Manager Nicola.
We prioritize our team’s wellbeing, holding regular meetings and appraisals, and maintaining an active messenger group for case discussions, handovers, and inclusivity.
“I’ve recently returned to being a small animal vet after working in equine charity, and the practice has been fantastic for gaining experience and confidence. There’s a strong team ethos and a positive learning environment. It’s busy, allowing a wide case range, and vets are encouraged to work cases up independently with team support as needed.” Pol, Veterinary Surgeon
This role is about expanding our excellent team. We are flexible and can consider 20 to 40 hours per week with various shifts, just 1 in 5 weekends, and no out-of-hours duties.
Joining our team provides an opportunity to support a great community and client base. We seek a team player with excellent communication skills who shares our passion for providing top-tier veterinary care. Whether you are an experienced vet or a new graduate, our team is eager to mentor and support you.
Benefits include:
The practice is purpose-built to industry-leading standards with all the equipment expected from a thriving GP practice.
