Kernow Veterinary Group is looking for a small animal vet to join our team. This is a full-time role, 40 hours over a 4-day week, promoting a great work/life balance. We are also open to part-time applicants. Our current team consists of 22 small animal vets across five sites, along with a dedicated farm & equine team.
We seek someone to complement our supportive team, which includes certificate holders in Ophthalmology, Dermatology, & Behaviour, as well as recent graduates under the IVC graduate academy. We provide referral services in Behaviour, Ophthalmology, & Dermatology.
All sites are well-equipped, offering a full range of diagnostic and surgical services. We operate our own OOH for in-patients, supported by an RVN and nursing staff at our main site 24/7. We employ a night vet and collaborate with a neighboring IVC practice for emergency OOH night coverage. The role involves contributing to the OOH rota for in-patient care and weekends, currently 1:10 weekends.
Within our supportive team, you will have clinical freedom to follow cases through. Many of our experienced vets have been with us for over 30 years, alongside newer colleagues.
