Job summary

Battersea Dogs and Cats is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our London clinic team. You will care for inpatients and outpatients across our sites, upholding high standards of animal welfare and clinical care.

The role is fixed-term maternity cover, 35 hours per week, 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday with some weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis with time off in lieu. You will work with a large team of veterinarians, nurses and assistants, receive ongoing learning opportunities and contribute

Qualifications

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon licensed to practice in the UK.
• Experience in a clinical setting with inpatient and outpatient care.
• Ability to work in a team across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Health and welfare of all animals across Battersea’s sites; treat inpatients and outpatients.

We are recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon to join our large and friendly London Clinic team of 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 30 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 3 Veterinary Care Assistants.

Veterinary Surgeons within Clinic team are responsible for the health and welfare of all animals across Battersea’s three sites, treating both inpatients and outpatients.

Assistance and guidance is also provided on all matters of veterinary care to other departments within the Home.
