Job summary

Battersea is seeking a Canine Behaviour and Training Advisor to work with our operational teams in the assessment and welfare of the dogs in our care, and in providing behavioural training and advice for staff, volunteers, customers and external organisations.

You will contribute to the welfare of our dogs and cats, support learning and development, and handle a range of practical tasks involved in our care environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in canine welfare or animal care preferred.

We’re looking for a Canine Behaviour and Training Advisor to work with our operational teams in the assessment and welfare of the dogs in our care, and in the provision of behavioural training and advice for staff, volunteers, customers and external organisations.

It is important to note that the role does involve a lot of physical tasks which are required to provide the exceptional standards of care to our animals.
