Exciting opportunities have become available for Vets to join our friendly and experienced team at Barry Vets4Pets.

Due to a vet relocating, we have both full- and part-time hours available.

Our Partner and Veterinary Surgeon, Sylvia Annies, qualified in Hannover and has over 31 years of experience. Her supportive team includes 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, 1 PCA, and 5 Receptionists, all supported by a Practice Manager.

The practice is equipped with digital X-rays, a Doppler blood pressure monitor, a full in-house lab, and an ultrasound scanner. We care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and various small furries. We also see a small number of birds, reptiles, and fish, but experience with these is not necessary.

Located in Barry, South Wales, near Cardiff and Barry Island beaches, with easy access to the Brecon Beacons National Park. The surgery is in a retail park overlooking Barry Island, with excellent parking and transportation links.

You will be part of a friendly team committed to providing excellent, caring veterinary services. We aim for a workplace you love to get up for each morning and enjoy working in.

The surgery is open 6 days a week, with only 1 in 4 Saturdays required.
