Job summary

DNA Vetcare's Animal Clinic in South East London is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and their pets. You will greet clients, schedule appointments, and support the Vet and Nurse team with queries while ensuring smooth reception operations.

You will manage paperwork, bookings, and payments, including 0% finance applications, and actively liaise with clients via email and social media to provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within Veterinary/Medical industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organisational abilities.
• Genuine love for animals and commitment to outstanding client service; proficient with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets; greet with a smile and make them feel at ease.
• Book appointments and arrivals on the booking system; manage scheduling.
• Promote Healthcare Plan and book follow-up appointments.
• Assist Vet and Nurse team with queries and paperwork; scan records.
• Manage payments and 0% finance applications; handle emails and social media inquiries.
