Job summary

inspiring vet care is looking for a friendly, organised Veterinary Receptionist to cover maternity leave on a part-time basis at Priory Vets - Bridlington. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, booking appointments, handling enquiries and supporting the smooth running of the practice across Bridlington with occasional cover at Driffield and Beeford.

Veterinary Receptionist (Maternity leave)

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Priory Vetson a part-time fixed-term basis. This is to cover maternity leave and will mainly be at our Bridlington practice however the occasional cover may be required at our Driffield and Beeford branches. The period of cover is 9-12 months.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

To cover all area's of reception working a 32.5 hour week. We also operate a Saturday morning rota 9am-12pm which is paid in addition to salary.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaising with the clients and the clinical staff to provide a high level of customer care.
• Meeting and greeting clients and pets.
• Booking appointments and diary management.
• Managing telephone and email enquiries.
• Taking payment for services and products.
• Managing cash and end-of-day banking.
• Maintaining a clean and safe space for our clients and their pets.
