Job description

Taverham Veterinary Practice, Taverham, Norwich, East of England

Taverham Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time receptionist to join our dedicated reception team. The role involves delivering excellent customer service and may also include responsibilities on the 'shop floor' to ensure we provide the highest standard of care and service.

Our team

We have 34 Veterinary Surgeons, 41 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 Student Veterinary Nurses, 9 Animal Nursing Assistants, and over 30 Support staff. Many team members hold multiple discipline certificates.

We are committed to giving back through charity work. We support StreetVet, providing veterinary care to animals of the homeless, led by our vet Claire. Our team also fundraises regularly, with recent events raising over £2,000. We support Dogs Trust and host hydrotherapy sessions for their resident dogs, making a positive impact on animal lives.

About you

Ideal candidates will have proven reception experience, be computer literate, and excel in delivering excellent client care in a busy environment.

Working hours

The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
