inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly, organised Receptionist to join Avon Lodge Vets in Wells on a part-time, permanent basis. You will manage appointments, answer inquiries, and work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

The role offers 21 hours per week with Saturday mornings on a rota and occasional branch shifts, providing a welcoming, professional experience for clients and their pets in a supportive team environment.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Avon Lodge on a part-time permanent basis.

Avon Lodge Vets is a friendly and progressive small animal practice, operating from our newly refurbished Wells Road hospital and our branch practice in Bishopsworth. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality veterinary care while creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both clients and colleagues.

You'll be joining a knowledgeable and close-knit team including our Head Vet, Veterinary Surgeons, Head Nurse, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Animal Nursing Assistant, Head Receptionist and Reception Team. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• 21 hours split over the week, Saturday mornings on rota to be discussed but likely 1:4, occasional branch practice reception shifts.
