Job summary

Vets for Pets Norwich is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our patient care team on a full-time basis. You will work to support hygiene, client care and basic handling of patients with guidance from the nursing team.

Hours total 36 per week across 4 eight-hour shifts with one weekend in eight. A set day off and set weekend off are provided. Prior experience is an advantage but not required, with comprehensive training offered.

Qualifications

• General hygiene and patient handling within a busy clinic.
• Care for clients with empathy and clear communication.
• Training provided; prior experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all teams to provide excellent patient and client care.
• Assist with basic handling of patients under nursing direction.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene within the clinic.
