Job summary

Animal Trust (UK) seeks an organised Veterinary Administration Team Leader to oversee central administrative processes across Debt and Insurance, Referral and Inpatient Management, and Health plan.

Based at Warrington Hospital, you will lead four colleagues across Bolton, Barnsley, Teesside and Shrewsbury, coaching and developing the team while maintaining hands-on duties in inpatient charging and revenue care.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy administration and customer service environments.
• Experience supervising or line managing colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and KPI monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage four colleagues across multiple locations with coaching and performance management.
• Recruit, induct and develop team members with cross-training across three areas.
• Set group-wide priorities and protect the team from unrelated administrative requests.
• Allocate and monitor workloads to maintain service continuity across hospital locations.
• Take accountability for team KPIs, monitoring performance and improvements.
• Coordinate inpatient charging, referral administration, debt management and Health plan processes.
• Identify capacity pressures and training needs, escalating where needed.
