Job summary

Animal Trust (UK) is seeking a Veterinary Administrator to support Bolton Hospital across Debt/Insurance, Referral and Inpatient Management, and Health plan. You will maintain accurate records, follow approved procedures and collaborate with hospital teams and central operations to ensure smooth charging, referrals and plan administration.

The role requires organised, proactive individuals capable of handling a varied workload and sensitive financial conversations with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, customer service, finance administration or veterinary practice support.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication skills, including the confidence to handle sensitive conversations about payments professionally and empathetically.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned workload across Debt and Insurance, Referral and Inpatient Management, and Health plan.
• Maintain clear notes, next steps and follow-up dates.
• Ensure inpatient charging and discharge processes are accurate and up-to-date.
