Zusammenfassung

The Royal British Legion is seeking an Advocacy and Complex Needs Advisor to support veterans across Northumberland, Northern Ireland and surrounding regions. This homebased role focuses on holistic, person-centred support and practical assistance in complex cases.

You will manage around 20 cases, visit beneficiaries at home, coordinate services, and advocate for suitable mental health, housing and addiction support.

Qualifikationen

• Complete effective case management of circa 20 complex beneficiary cases.
• Visit beneficiaries in their homes to assess need, build and maintain positive relationships.

Aufgaben

• Work holistically with beneficiaries to explore their full range of needs, identify and agree priorities, and develop a person-centred support and action plan.
• Provide specialist advice and advocacy, identify external services (mental health, housing, addiction) and support referrals.
• Collaborate with beneficiaries and partner agencies to overcome barriers and coordinate support.
