Job summary

Hook Vets, part of Inspiring Vet Care, is seeking a Practice Manager to lead the non-clinical operations at our Hook clinic in Hampshire. You will work closely with clinical leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day running and an outstanding client experience.

The role focuses on operational delivery, people management and compliance, enabling clinical teams to deliver excellent care and fostering a positive culture. Full-time, Mon-Fri with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management role, ideally within healthcare, veterinary, or service-led environments.
• Strong people management skills with performance management and staff development.
• Excellent operational and organisational capability with ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities.
• Experience handling complaints, change and complex situations with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the practice team to foster a positive and motivated work environment.
• Manage HR tasks including payroll, recruitment, staff development and absence management.
• Oversee debt recovery and handle client complaints professionally.
• Ensure high safety compliance, supporting the team with protocols and risk assessments.
