Job summary

Purina PetCare in the United Kingdom is seeking a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our customer-focused team, supporting pet owners and veterinary professionals. You will also have ongoing training with our in-house Vets through onsite and external courses to meet CPD requirements.

Shifts are on a rota between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, delivering expert advice and nutrition guidance across phone, email and video channels while contributing to service targets.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Veterinary Nurse with sound knowledge of small animal care.
• Minimum two years experience working within a veterinary practice.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Interest in pet nutrition; SACN qualification or CPD in small animal nutrition is desirable.
• Training capability to deliver advice, guidance or coaching to others.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on companion animal health, nutrition and wellbeing to customers and veterinary professionals.
• Support queries relating to health conditions, therapeutic diets, and science-led nutrition.
• Support colleagues through veterinary training and technical guidance.
