Job summary

Altana is seeking a Vertical Technology Lead for Policy & National Security in London. You will own the architecture and end-to-end delivery for the vertical, partnering with commercial leadership to shape technical strategy and win high-stakes government programs.

You will build and direct a multi-disciplinary delivery team, stand up IDMs on large accounts, and ensure secure, scalable deployments in regulated environments, aligning product features with mission requirements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of technical experience spanning enterprise/solution architecture, deployment, and product development, including leading technical teams and complex deployments end-to-end.
• Deep public sector experience, ideally in defence, intelligence, or national security.
• Experience owning architecture across SaaS and regulated environments and running delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and delivery for the vertical's accounts from scoping through deployment, ensuring security, performance, and maintainability.
• Stand up and direct Implementation Delivery Managers on large and strategic accounts.
• Work with EPD and core engineering to design solutions and drive last-mile product development.
• Lead hiring, staffing, and deployment for the vertical’s technical delivery team.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to convert technical outcomes into credible delivery paths.
