Job summary

A leading organization in the arts is seeking a proactive, multi-skilled technician to support the technical requirements for various productions and events at the Unicorn Theatre. This role will involve ensuring high operational standards during shows and maintaining technical equipment across disciplines. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in lighting and theatre technology, and be ready to engage with a variety of projects aimed at young audiences.

Job description

We’re looking for a proactive, multi-skilled technician with the ability to work across all disciplines with a bias in lighting. You will work as part of the Technical Department, servicing the technical requirements of all work
presented by the Unicorn Theatre including productions, Creative Hub (schools and community) projects, venue hires and events. Our schedule is principally based around daytime shows for our young audiences.
This will include the operation of productions to a consistently high standard – maintaining the integrity of the production, first line maintenance of technical equipment, show-related maintenance and housekeeping anywhere within the Unicorn Theatre and on tour.
