Job summary

Leicester City Council is seeking an experienced SIA Security Supervisor to lead security operations at De Montfort Hall and Haymarket Theatre in Leicester. You will manage security and car parking, ensure staff are trained and deployed, and maintain high safety standards while delivering an excellent visitor experience.

The role requires a proven supervisory background in public-facing venues, strong communication, risk assessment and incident response skills, and adherence to Martyn's Law

Qualifications

• Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Significant experience in supervisory or management roles within security.
• Experience in theatres, concert venues or similar high-footfall venues.
• Knowledge of crowd management, security and public safety principles.
• Understanding of Martyn's Law requirements and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deploy the venue's security and car parking operations.
• Plan staffing, scheduling and resource deployment for events.
• Act as operational lead for security, crowd management and incident response.
• Develop and review security plans, risk assessments and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety and security regulations.
