Worcestershire County Cricket Club is seeking a reliable Venue Operations Porter to support catering, hospitality, conferencing and events at New Road, Worcester. The role involves setting up rooms, moving furniture, preparing catering areas and assisting with general porter duties across the venue, including early mornings, evenings and matchdays.

You will work with the catering, events and operations teams to ensure spaces are clean, safe, presentable and correctly laid out for each event,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a catering, events, hospitality, cleaning, facilities or porter role.
• Ability to carry out physical work, including lifting and moving furniture.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Set up rooms and event spaces according to function sheets and manager instructions.
• Move furniture, arrange tables and chairs, prepare catering areas and maintain cleanliness.
• Support with room turnarounds, event preparation and post-event clear downs.
• Ensure safe handling of equipment and assist with deliveries and stock movement.
• Provide operational support across the venue during busy periods.
