Job summary

MERKUR Slots is seeking a Venue Manager for Retford to drive performance and guest satisfaction in a busy gaming centre. You will lead a team, manage budgets, and deliver a top-class customer experience while ensuring compliant operations.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on management, and the ability to balance promotional activities with daily venue operations. A salary of £36,340.20 per annum is offered with bonus opportunities and a 45-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail, hospitality or gambling venue.
• Ability to manage budgets and targets.
• Experience with staff rotas and reporting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to change and shifts.
• Understanding of P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of a licensed gaming centre.
• Lead marketing, promotions and events to drive footfall and customer engagement.
• Develop and train your team to deliver exceptional service.
• Recruitment and training of new team members for your venue.
• Monitor machine income and achieve KPIs and audits.
• Ensure health and safety practices and company compliance.
