We are looking for an experienced AV Technician to join our client's team at a venue in central London.

This is a great opportunity for someone eager to work with the latest technology and to grow within the role.

Working with some of the best global brands, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment used in live events, retail, permanent installations, exhibitions, and studio environments.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • The setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment for events.
  • Providing onsite technical support to clients as required.
  • Assisting in project execution from concept to delivery when needed.
  • Collaborating with team members and providing technical assistance to other technicians.
  • Preparing equipment for jobs, including pulling and prepping.
  • Loading and unloading vans/trucks.
  • Completing paperwork accurately.
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining health and safety standards to ensure safety for all.
  • Occasionally assisting with warehouse duties.
  • Participating in training sessions as required.
  • Performing any other reasonable duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Pre-Requisites:
  • Broad knowledge of audio, video, networking, and lighting techniques is essential.
  • Technical/electronics training and/or experience in the AV live event industry is required.
  • Good troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Creative, resourceful, team-oriented, with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to follow directions and multitask in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
  • A full, clean driving license.
Physical Requirements:

This role requires regular standing, walking, and physical activities such as pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, reaching, twisting, kneeling, and lifting/moving up to 25kg. Good communication, auditory skills, and visual acuity are also necessary. The work environment may vary in temperature.

Hours and Availability:

Full-time position, minimum 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday. Overtime, early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and travel (including overnight stays) may be required. Flexibility to accommodate business needs is essential.
