Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking Holiday Heroes to keep our UK resort venues sparkling each morning. You will clean central areas, restock guest touchpoints, and prepare spaces to welcome guests.

Work with a friendly team, report maintenance issues, and help maintain high standards. We offer staff discounts, wellbeing support, and opportunities for career development within Away Resorts.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out morning cleaning of central areas (Arcade, toilets, Guest Services, outdoor areas).
• Cleaning and maintaining floors, surfaces, desks, arcade machines, and guest touchpoints.
• Sweeping, mopping, wiping down, ensuring tidy presentation.
• Emptying and checking internal and external bins.
• Cleaning and restocking guest toilets for the day ahead.
• Noticing anything out of place and addressing it.
• Reporting maintenance issues or needed work to Guest Services.
• Maintaining high standards seen by guests and owners.

What You’ll be doing:

You’ll help us get the heart of the park looking its best each morning, making sure our central areas are clean, fresh and ready to welcome our guests.

• Carrying out the morning clean of our central areas, including the Arcade, toilets, Guest Services and surrounding outdoor areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining floors, surfaces, desks, arcade machines and other guest touchpoints.
• Sweeping, mopping, wiping down and generally making sure everything looks clean, tidy and well presented.
• Emptying and checking internal and external bins around the central areas.
• Cleaning and restocking our guest toilets, making sure they’re ready for the day ahead.
• Keeping an eye out for anything that doesn’t look quite right and giving it some attention.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or jobs that need doing to the Guest Services team.
• Helping us maintain the high standards we want our guests and owners to see every day.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:

• Have an awareness of what clean means – which includes attention to detail and getting a genuine thrill from a job well-done
• Have a friendly and helpful attitude - delightful when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.
