Job summary

Nuaire, part of the Genuit Group, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to promote our ventilation products and secure specifications with mechanical consultant accounts across a defined territory. You will work with internal teams to uphold consultant specifications and drive sales performance.

The role is field-based with a 37.5-hour week, requiring strong stakeholder management, technical product knowledge, and willingness to travel within NR, IP, CB, MK, SG, LU, AL, CM, CO and SS postcodes.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or professional environment with customer relationship management.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic network of key consultants and build strong business relationships through regular visits, calls, meetings, seminars and events (some outside normal hours).
• Respond to enquiries promptly and be accessible for customers and colleagues.
• Work with the Contractor Representative to identify successful contractors and maintain favourable specifications at order stage.
• Follow projects and share information to convert competitor specifications and update company tracking systems.
• Aim to exceed area sales targets and key performance metrics (e.g., call rates).
• Maintain product and technical knowledge across the Nuaire range and present information to varied audiences.
• Coordinate with internal sales, technical teams and other departments to ensure alignment.
• Report market conditions and competitor activity to the business.
• Support marketing initiatives to promote Nuaire products and maintain brand awareness.
• Maintain an accurate project log and perform sales administration with updates to the Regional Sales Manager.
