Job summary

PropRec Search in the United Kingdom is seeking a Vendor Manager who will oversee relationships with key software vendors, drive growth and maximise value aligned with strategic goals.

You will lead negotiation, ensure certifications, manage GTM activities, and coordinate with distribution partners to maximise incentives and streamline vendor performance. This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, project management, and a strategic mindset to grow the SCC ecosystem.

  • Experience in data protection, cyber‑resilience, backup, recovery, and cloud infrastructure software vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage relationships with different vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues and opportunities.
  • Go to Market & Revenue Generating Activities: Collaborate on growth plans with vendors and identify and nurture opportunities for Incubate vendors.
  • Certification and Compliance: Ensure the highest level of certifications and specialisations for vendors.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Drive and support marketplace partnerships and own the services partners ecosystem.
  • Financial Management: Secure development funds and resources (GP).
  • Proactive Engagement: Engage with vendor partners to develop their business with SCC.
  • Distribution Relationship Management: Manage relationships with aligned distribution partners to maximise incentives, manage cost optimisation and drive value across the distributors resources, market intelligence and data.

Job description
