Job summary

Lookers Leeds Ford is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join its busy workshop. You will service vehicles, conduct health checks with up-to-date diagnostic tools, and carry out repairs to required standards.

The role offers a competitive pay package, structured progression, and manufacturer accredited training including hybrid and electric systems, with a 40-hour week and some Saturday rotation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Previous vehicle technician or mechanic experience preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Perform vehicle health checks and routine services.
• Fit additional accessories as requested by customers.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues and report required work.
• Follow manufacturers guidelines for servicing and checks.
