Job summary

Progressive Group is seeking a Vehicle Site Technician to join a busy weekend team in Greater London. You will service vehicles and carry out light repairs, preparing cars for resale and conducting PDIs to manufacturer standards.

The role offers a strong basic salary uplift for weekend work and opportunities for EV/Hybrid training. The position entails working Friday to Tuesday with no customer-facing duties, a collaborative workshop environment, and long-term career progression within a stable

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 technician qualification.
• Enthusiastic learner or experienced technician seeking progression.
• Team player with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• General servicing and light mechanical repairs.
• Preparing used cars for resale (brakes, pads, suspension, head unit replacements).
• PDI inspections and diagnosing/ repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Final quality checks before sale.

Our client, a progressive and successful automotive group, is seeking a Vehicle Site Technician to join their well-established site and support their busy sales department by preparing vehicles for resale. This role covers weekends and offers a strong basic salary uplift to reward your flexibility.

Who We're Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 (semi-skilled or fully qualified) Technician
• Enthusiastic learner OR an established Technician wanting progression
• Team player with a proactive, hands-on approach

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• General servicing & light mechanical repairs
• Preparing used cars for resale (brakes, pads, suspension, head unit replacements - no heavy mechanics)
• PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections)
• Diagnosing & repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Final quality checks before sale
