Job summary

Progressive Group’s well-established automotive site is hiring a Vehicle Site Technician to prepare used vehicles for resale and support the sales department. The role follows a Monday to Friday pattern with optional weekend work for higher earnings.

Expect a competitive salary (£33,600–£57,000 DOE), a supportive team, ongoing training including EV/Hybrid, and modern facilities with on-site parking and a uniform provided.

• Level 2 or Level 3 Technician - semi-skilled or fully qualified
• Enthusiastic learner OR an established Technician looking for progression
• Team player with a proactive, hands-on approach

Responsibilities

• General servicing and light mechanical repairs
• Preparing used cars for resale - brakes, pads, suspension, head unit replacements and similar work
• PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections)
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Final quality checks before sale

Exciting opportunity!

Our client, a progressive and successful automotive group, is seeking a Vehicle Site Technician to join their well-established site and support their busy sales department by preparing vehicles for resale.

The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, giving you two consecutive days off every week. For Technicians looking to maximise their earnings, there is also the option to undertake regular weekend work, with a significant salary uplift.

What's on Offer

£33,600 - £57,000 basic salary depending on skills & qualifications

Monday to Friday as standard

5 days per week only - never more than 5 working days

Two consecutive days off every week

Optional regular weekend working for increased salary

+7.5% for working 1 weekend day per week

+15% for working both Saturday & Sunday
