Job summary

Halfords Careers is seeking a capable Vehicle Technician/Mechanic in Wales to service, repair and diagnose vehicles. You will handle tasks from routine servicing to more complex replacements and diagnostics, including brakes, steering, suspension and electrical systems.

The role offers a base salary in the range of £31,480–£36,620 with an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £5,800 per year, aiming at an on-target continuous earnings up to £42,420. 5 days a week; Sundays closed.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience as a technician/mechanic with diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles and diagnosing faults.
• Carry out complex replacements and diagnostics on brakes, steering/suspension, engine and electrical systems.
