Job summary

Halfords Group PLC in Bridgend is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to carry out interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repairs such as brakes, tyres, steering and suspension. The role includes a base salary of £31,500 with on-target earnings up to £36,000 and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £4,500 per year.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services and related repairs (brakes, suspension, steering, air conditioning etc).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services as well as follow-up repair and replacement work.
• Work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.
• Progress vehicle service tasks to maintain Halfords standards.
