Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in Bridgend. The role offers a basic salary of £35,000–£40,000 within an overall package of £35,000–£45,000, plus manufacturer training and clear career progression.

The position runs Monday–Friday 08:00–17:30 with optional weekend overtime, in a clean, safe workshop environment that supports ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required.
• F-Gas certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle inspections, servicing and mechanical repairs across various makes and models.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues to locate faults efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency to achieve first-time fixes.
