Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Junior Vehicle Tech Trainer to progress from a hands-on vehicle role into an Instructor position within a major defence contractor. Based in Lyneham, the role offers funded qualifications and a clear progression path, with a 37-hour week and enhanced pension.

You will deliver practical training to military students, follow pre-set lesson plans, assess progress, and work with colleagues to refine courses. Commutable to nearby towns.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician.
• Willing to progress into a Trainer/Instructor role.
• Commutable to Lyneham and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on training to military students.
• Deliver pre‑set lesson plans, training and assessments.
• Monitor trainee development and collaborate with colleagues to improve processes.
• Work Mon–Fri, 37 hour week with no overtime.
