Job summary

BCA Group in the UK is hiring a Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop team. You will carry out servicing, light mechanical work, road and ramp testing, and repairs to ensure customer vehicles meet the highest standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2, and a full UK driving licence. We offer competitive salaries, a pension, cycle-to-work, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to support junior techs and offer expertise when needed.
• You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in your work.
• You will need to work independently and make decisions when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general servicing of vehicles.
• Carry out MOT fail/advisory work (light mechanical).
• Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as required.
• Carry out repairs to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
• Plan and organise time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Assist with general workshop tasks as required.
• Diagnose problems and undertake electrical diagnosis if needed.
• Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
• Complete and follow all relevant documentation and company procedures.
