Job summary

BCA, the UK’s largest B2B used vehicle service, is seeking skilled vehicle technicians to assess, repair and maintain wholesale remarketing vehicles. The role sits within a site operations/drive team, with opportunities to specialise at sites or on the road.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 Mechanic/Vehicle Technician with at least 5+ years experience (essential).
• Broad understanding of cars and LCVs, ability to observe, diagnose and repair mechanical faults and vehicle servicing.
• Clear team ethic with ability to balance immediate tasks across departments to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

• To complete mechanical repairs in line with approved methods.
• To work productively ensuring repairs are completed within the deadline and work prioritised to achieve maximum efficiency.
• To highlight when repairs are not possible, or an alternative solution is required.
• To have a high attention to detail and to escalate where repairs could be completed more cost effectively.
• To maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within workspaces.
• To ensure standard operating procedures are rigorously followed and documentation completed accurately.
• To undertake other duties as requested by your manager.
