Job summary

BCA Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to assess, recommend and complete mechanical repairs, enhancing the value of wholesale vehicles. You’ll join a growing UK-based team at one of our sites or on the road, contributing to efficient repairs and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates will hold a Level 3 Mechanical Technician qualification and possess a broad understanding of cars and light commercial vehicles, with a strong team ethic and a focus on timely, cost-effective

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 Mechanical Technician (essential).
• Broad understanding of cars and LCVs, ability to observe, diagnose and repair mechanical faults and vehicle servicing.
• Clear team ethic balancing tasks across departments to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

• To complete mechanical repairs in line with approved methods.
• To work productively ensuring repairs are completed within the deadline and work prioritised to achieve maximum efficiency.
• To highlight when repairs are not possible, or an alternative solution is required.
• To have a high attention to detail and to upscale where repairs could be completed more cost effectively.
• To maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within workspaces.
• To ensure standard operating procedures are rigorously followed and documentation completed accurately.
• To undertake other duties as requested by your manager.
