Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician in Basingstoke to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards. You will diagnose faults, complete health checks and maintain accurate workshop documentation in a modern workshop.

We offer a basic salary of £38,771 per year with bonuses, OTE up to £52,841, and options for 4 or 5-day weeks, plus manufacturer training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Min Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or equivalent.
• Strong vehicle servicing, maintenance, repair and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.
• Complete repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation.
• Work closely with the wider Aftersales and workshop team.
