Job summary
Mercedes-Benz Hertford is hiring a Vehicle Technician to service, diagnose and repair vehicles to exacting standards. You will liaise with Reception and Workshop Control and occasionally discuss issues with customers, sharing expert technical opinions.
The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 Technician qualification, a full UK driving licence, and can work independently or as part of a team while meeting tight timescales with meticulous attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Must be a Level 3 qualified technician with experience in a main dealer.
- Full UK Driving Licence held.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Able to meet timescales with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
- Communicating with Service Reception and Workshop Control.
- Speaking with customers to provide expert, technical opinion.
- Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.
- Maintaining high customer service levels that drive loyalty and referrals.
- Maintaining good housekeeping and orderly administration of work.
