Job summary

Adore Recruitment Ltd is seeking Vehicle Technicians and Semi-Skilled Technicians in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, for a modern franchised workshop. The role involves servicing, diagnostics, warranty repairs and fault finding on passenger cars in a busy operation.

You will work Monday to Friday 8:00am-6:00pm with alternate Saturdays 8:00am-1:00pm, with a strong emphasis on technician development, training programmes and potential earnings through a £50,000-£55,000 OTE.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Semi-Skilled Technician.
• Good understanding of diagnostics and modern vehicle systems.
• Experience with warranty procedures is highly desirable.
• MOT Tester would be an advantage, but not essential.
• Full UK manual driving licence (max 3 points).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair customer vehicles
• Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding using manufacturer equipment
• Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer procedures
• Perform mechanical, electrical and general workshop repairs
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Work closely with the workshop and service teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes

A major automotive group is expanding its Southend operation and is looking for Vehicle Technicians and Semi-Skilled Technicians (Level 3 qualified) to join a growing manufacturer-backed workshop.

This is not a repetitive fast-fit role. You'll be working within a modern franchised environment carrying out servicing, diagnostics, warranty repairs, maintenance and fault finding on a busy and expanding passenger car operation.
