Job summary

Allen Motor Group is seeking a Vehicle Technician for our Ford dealership in Romford. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 40 hours, with one Saturday in 3 paid as overtime. Basic salary is £28,825 with an OTE of £42,500.

Our average technician earnings last year were £42,500, with top performers averaging £58,000. We offer 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, discounts on MOTs and parts, life assurance, mental health support, and a refer-a-friend bonus up to £1,000.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification: City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles.
• MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Previous experience in a franchised dealership preferred but not essential.

• Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure training compliance.
• Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards.

Job description

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join our Ford dealership in Romford.

This position is offered on a full-time working contract of Monday to Friday 40 hours a week, 1 Saturday in 3 paid as overtime. Basic salary of £28,825 with and an OTE of £42,500 reporting to the Aftersales Manager. Our average Vehicle Technician earnings were £42,500 last year, with our higher performing technicians earning on average £58,000!

As a vehicle technician you’ll have some key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility:

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for the position you will need to possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum. We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes & skills:

• A full UK driving licence

• Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles

• MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial

• Fantastic verbal and written English skills

• Previous experience working in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential)
