Job summary

Hawk Hiring in East Sussex, Bodiam, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to manage pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), routine servicing, MOT repairs, and general mechanical prep across a diverse range of modern vehicles.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, demonstrate strong diagnostic and repair skills, and have a full UK driving licence with their own hand tools. Working hours are set in a Monday–Friday pattern in a busy workshop.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong skills in rapid vehicle inspection, fault diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and routine servicing.
• Carry out MOT repairs and general mechanical prep on diverse modern vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to meet quality standards.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 basic per annum
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 (NO WEEKENDS | Enjoy every single weekend off)
