Job summary

Vertu Nissan Stockton is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join our team. You will perform servicing and repairs, striving for first-time fixes and excellent customer experience, in a well-equipped workshop with manufacturer-backed training.

You will receive a strong salary and a substantial sign-on bonus, with no weekend work and a 42-hour week. Benefits include extensive annual leave, ongoing training (including EV), a pension scheme, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification (NVQ City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent).
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician is required.
• Must own your own set of tools for the role.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Aim for first-time fixes and high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain workshop safety and tool integrity, and keep records up to date.

We’re offering a £4,000 sign on bonus! You will be paid £2,000 in month 1 and £2,000in month 12.

We are offering a basic salary up to £47,780depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 42hour working week plus an additional over-performance bonus opportunity and NO WEEKEND WORKING!

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
